"Aggressively pursuing your insurer can make a bigger impact on coverage than you think. If you have a substantial claim, speak with a potent policyholder attorney and get the coverage you paid for. This is the only thing we do."

Pursue a claim for property loss
Policyholders are not bound by their insurer's analysis of the cause of a property loss, nor are they bound by the insurer's self-interested interpretation of policy terms. The burden is often on the insurer to prove a coverage limitation—an obligation insurers frequently ignore. Seth works with clients to hold insurers to their obligations, often compelling payment after a claim is denied.
Secure a legal defense and indemnity
When defending lawsuits on behalf of their policyholders, liability insurers work to minimize their litigation costs and maximize their profits. This industry reality creates several potential conflicts of interest that can adversely impact a policyholder's defense and liability exposure. Seth consults with clients and works with defense counsel to ensure a competent defense that is not influenced by the adverse interests of the insurer.
Sue your insurer for denying a claim
Sue your insurer for bad faith
A successful lawsuit against an insurer requires a wholistic understanding of the various types of insurance, the applicable insurance regulation, and the rules of insurance contract interpretation. Seth brings these skills to the table, delivering assertive, policyholder-focused representation. He knows how to counter the tactics insurers use to litigate claims and works tirelessly to secure favorable results, often allowing insurance to be a source of productive cash flow and not just a cost of doing business.
Insurers often fail to investigate a claim properly before denial, respond to a claim in a vague or untimely manner, or impose obligations on their policyholders that are not required by the insurance policy or supported by the insurance law. These tactics can overburden or intimidate policyholders, often in an effort to exhaust the will to continue pursuing a claim. Seth is experienced at navigating these tactics and, when insurers cross the line, prosecuting bad faith claims against them.
Buy the right insurance
The best opportunity for policyholders to mitigate risk is before a loss occurs. Every business presents unique risks that should be addressed while selecting coverage. With knowledge of how insurance companies actually apply policy terms to insurance claims, Seth helps his clients select coverage that addresses specific business needs.
